Those New Pizza Hut Boxes….

and what are they really trying to do here?  Make me mad?  In case you haven’t been to Pizza Hut recently, they’ve redesigned their pizza boxes ever so slightly, but just enough to make you wonder why the heck they did that.  They are now thinner on the bottom, but not proportionately thinner on top.  So let me put this in layman’s terms – THEY DON’T CLOSE ALL THE WAY.  I liken this to God creating people with mouths that don’t close all the way.  Bad idea, right?  I asked the guy “So what’s the deal with these new boxes?” He kind of gave me the “uh, uh…I don’t know.  Maybe to like save on trash or something?”  Yeah, that extra 1/2 inch of cardboard is going to do the trick son.

Obviously someone didn’t quite think this through when they were being designed.  Unless the guy designing them liked cold pizza.  Or making people angry.  Then he did a great job.  It’s already bad enough when they have to open the box when you pick up the pizza to prove they’re giving you the right pizza or something.  I hate that.  Last time I was in there the guy started to open it and I stopped him and told him I’d just take his word for it.  We’re all smart people right?  We know what’s in the box….
